The RRC Key to Safety programme

The RRC Key to Safety Programme has been designed specifically for those who need to appreciate health and safety on a global scale.
The aim of the programme is to raise health and safety awareness and knowledge, enabling participants to play an active role in achieving a safe workplace.
Uniquely, the programme is split into three distinct levels and this progressive nature allows participants to develop their knowledge in line with the needs of individual organisations.
Each level is aimed at a specific target group:
- Introductory - basic health and safety awareness aimed at all workers with little or no previous training or workplace experience
- Intermediate - aimed at those with additional responsibility for others’ safety such as charge-hands and supervisors. Suitable for those with some experience from the workplace or from the introductory course
- Advanced - suitable for those who have health and safety responsibilities as part of their job function or as members of a safety team.
There are no entry requirements and successful completion of all three levels provides the academic knowledge required for associate membership of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).
