We will provide you with all the support necessary to get you through your NEBOSH Certificate programme successfully. But sometimes you may just have too much on to attempt the entire course in one go or you may just want to dip your toe in to see how you get on.
And as the first unit of each qualification is the same, you can wait until you have that under your belt before you decide where to go next.
Management of safety and health (Unit NGC1)
Controlling workplace hazards (Unit NGC2)
The Practical Assessment (Unit NGC3)
Fire Safety and Risk Assessment (Unit FC1)
The Practical Assessment (Unit FC2)
Both the NEBOSH National General Certificate and National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management are currently unitised.
At RRC, we offer you the opportunity to embark on a single unit of a Certificate, allowing you to build up your qualification slowly. This process is called 'unitisation'.

The NEBOSH National General Certificate provides a sound introduction to the basics of occupational health and safety. It looks at the management of health and safety and a wide variety of workplace hazards. The NEBOSH Certificate has been designed for managers, supervisors and employee representatives and is ideal for anyone who wants to establish a career in health and safety.
Anyone can enrol on the NEBOSH Certificate programme.

Successful completion of the NEBOSH Certificate satisfies the academic requirements of IOSH (at Tech IOSH level) and the IIRSM (at Associate Membership level).
The NEBOSH Certificate entitles you to exemptions from the NGC1 units of the NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management and the NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Safety and Health as well as providing the perfect basis for you to progress onto the NEBOSH National Diploma or NEBOSH Specialist Diploma in Environmental Management.
If you're not sure if you’re ready for a full NEBOSH Certificate, why not just enrol for a single unit? You will receive a certificate from NEBOSH and you can go on to to complete the second unit (and achieve the full NEBOSH Certificate qualification) at any time in the following 5 years.
