Dr R K Bentley - BSC, PhD, CChem, FRSC, DipSM, CFIOSH
who is particularly involved in work on chemical major accident hazard sites, but also undertakes work as an expert witness in litigation on respiratory diseases, cancer and industrial accidents. Roger is a Council Member of IOSH. He is an examiner for NEBOSH Certificate.
Dr W R Griffiths - PhD, MSc, MEd, Cert Ed, GRSC, CMIOSH, MIIRSM, FRSH, FRIPH
who has wide experience in industry and education as a training provider and examiner. His interests cover waste disposal management, environmental audit and legal and cost implications of pollution.
Dr J Phelpstead - BSc, PhD, CMIOSH
Who originally trained as a crop plant geneticist before changing careers to work in the food industry. He has worked as health and safety manager with blue chip food manufacturing companies at various locations in the UK.
Dr T Robson - Bsc (Hons), PhD, CFIOSH, MRSC, CChem
who is an Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner in Higher Education. He has a wide range of experience teaching NEBOSH courses and is a NEBOSH examiner.
Dr M Speirs - CMIOSH AIEMA CChem MRSC Dip2.OSH SpDipEM
has worked in high risk industries since 1978, specifically with propellants and explosives. He has been involved with product development, plant management and production support, including two overseas start-ups. His current role is as SHE manager, particularly involved with COMAH, IPPC, REACH and MSER. I am an examiner with NEBOSH on the National General Certificate, and also the New NEBOSH Environmental Certificate.
Dr D Towlson - BSc, PhD, CMIOSH, AIEMA, AIfL
David initially trained as a research chemist and worked first as a Research and Development scientist and then as a Safety Advisor in the chemical industry. During this time, he gained his NEBOSH Diploma (in occupational safety and health), studying through RRC. David is a chartered member of Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), an associate member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and also an associate of the Institute for Learning (IfL). He regularly acts as an examiner for NEBOSH.
Dr D Wenham - BSc, MSc, PhD, DipSH, DipLaw, AdvDipEd, MRSC, CChem, CFIOSH,
David is a former HSE inspector and currently a lecturer and director of the Occupational Health & Safety Management Postgraduate Programme at Loughborough University. He has a particular interest in health and safety law and is a visiting lecturer at several universities.
Mr A Aggiss - BSc, MSc, MIOSH, Cert Ed
Tony was a Clinical Biochemist in the Health Service for over 25 years. He entered the world of health and safety as a COSHH specialist and became adviser to the Mid-Essex Hospitals NHS Trust Board. He acted as safety consultant for a number of healthcare organisations delivering both training and audit consultancy. He then spent a number of years as lecturer and SHE project manager at Plymouth College of Further Education before joining RRC Training. His particular interest is the area of chemical and biological agents and occupational health matters. He is also a NEBOSH examiner.
Mr A Ashford - BSc(Hons), GDL, Cert Ed., CMIOSH
Following a career in the armed forces, Andrew has held posts at senior level in health and safety management. Having taught at Diploma level for several years, Andrew specialises in all aspects of Risk Management and English Law and is training to become a barrister.
Mr A Bessell - BSc (Hons), DipSH, CFIOSH,CH&S Practitioner
After graduating in Physics, Alan started his career when HSWA was new as a gamekeeper with the HSE and has subsequently been a poacher with various Local Authorities before becoming self employed in 1993 taking on a wide variety of clients, public and private sector. He also teaches NEBOSH, etc. courses by way of rest and relaxation and has been a NEBOSH Diploma Examiner for the past 15 years, particularly on Unit A.
Mr J Binns - BSc(Hons), MSc, AIEMA
John is an experienced trainer and consultant. He has experience of delivering services such as environmental management systems, integrated systems, environmental permit applications, EHS auditing (EMS, SMS, legal compliance and due diligence) and resource efficiency. John has also delivered and developed training courses accredited by NEBOSH, IEMA and the CIEH and many bespoke courses and workshops. Following completion of an MSc in Environmental Science, John has worked as a consultant and trainer for a wide range of clients in the UK and abroad. During this time he has also gained additional relevant qualifications including an MSc in Health and Safety.
Mr M Dennis - DIP2OSH, CIMIOSH, MRSH, MCIT
who has been a safety and health practitioner for over 15 years. Formerly employed by London Underground as a safety manager, he now runs his own health and safety consultancy business.
Mr P Harvey - Dip2.OSH CMIOSH
Who initially trained as a chef in the Royal Air Force. He spent 23 years in the RAF serving at stations both in the UK an overseas and undertook many different roles including Catering Facilities Manager, Health and Safety Officer, Food Safety Trainer and Training Co-ordinator. Since leaving the RAF, Pete has worked for a Local Authority, initially as a Safety Advisor, then as Health, Safety and Quality Manager with responsibility for Emergency Planning. He is currently employed as a consultant with a high street bank providing health and safety advice to businesses.
Mr S Jones - CMIOSH, M.I.Fire.E
worked with the Fire and Rescue service for about 28 years and along with operations and command gained experience as a Training Centre Manager and Fire Safety enforcement officer. Since retiring as a senior officer Stan works as a safety consultant
Mr John Leigh - Bsc (Hons), C Eng, CMIOSH, FIMMM, MIIRSM
Who has managed health and safety in one of the highest risk industries and has over 30 years experience in providing advice and solving problems. This experience has been gathered over a wide range of occupational settings across the broadest range of issues in occupational hygiene, health and safety with particular interests in hazardous substances physical agents and ergonomics. He carries out both NEBOSH and IOSH accredited training and is a NEBOSH examiner.
Ms Z Neasham - BSc (Hons), CMIOSH
Originally a chemist, Zoe was enthused by health and safety after studying the NEBOSH General Certificate in 1997, working in the semiconductor, bulk chemical manufacturing and manufacturing sectors. Zoe worked as a health and safety manager for a large multinational organisation before working as a consultant and trainer. She studied NEBOSH Diploma Part 1 and 2 in 2002-2003 and achieved the best candidate awards for both parts of the diploma.

Roger is from an engineering background and has been a Health and Safety Advisor in building products manufacture and consumer products for twenty-three years.
Mr M Rimmer - Post-Grad Dip Health & Safety,BA(Hons),Dip Acoustics,AMIOA
who was a sewer inspector with a local authority before training as a Psychologist. Subsequently he served as one of HM Inspectors of Health and Safety for 8 years, inspecting factories and construction sites. Malcolm is also a registered noise consultant and has certificates in Stress Counselling and Industrial Chemistry.

A chartered safety and health practitioner with experience of training and safety management across a range of industries including construction, industrial, commercial and office environments.
Mr F N Southall - BTech (Mech Eng) Dip EM
who worked in the manufacturing sector for 25 years in a variety of senior operations management posts. Frank has worked in full time education since 1996.
Mr D Whitelegg - BSc (Hons), CEnv MCIWM MIEMA Dip2.OSH
David graduated with a BSc(Hons) in Environment Management from Cranfield University and holds the NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety. He is a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) with the Society for the Environment, a Chartered Waste Manager with Chartered Institution for Wastes Management (MCIWM), a member of IOSH at Grad IOSH level and a member of IEMA. David is an experienced operational manager, has run training courses in the UK and abroad, has worked as Head of Environmental Protection Training for the Ministry of Defence.
Mr S Wilson - MSc, CMIOSH, RSP
who originally trained as an engineer before moving into the education sector. Sandy spent 17 years as a Director of an engineering department within a County College and has acted in the capacity of Safety Adviser for 27 years. For seven years, he was an examiner for the NEBOSH Diploma (Safety Technology module).
Jerry Diplock - NDIP, Dip in Environmental Health
who works as a part time enforcement inspector and is Director of Diplock Safety and Hygiene Ltd which provides Health and Safety support for both the public and private sector to include consultancy and training. He is a regular NEBOSH Diploma Tutor.
